Who we are
The IBM Wall Street Center of Excellence in New York City provides in-depth technology briefings, product demonstrations, solution workshops and hosts events for IBM clients and IBM Business Partners focusing on solutions for Financial Markets clients utilizing IBM’s Systems and Storage products. These valuable services are provided at no charge to IBM clients.

We are especially interested in the intersection of server, storage, networking and virtualization technologies.
Our resources
We provide a venue in New York City with briefing rooms and a small hands-on lab to discuss, evaluate and pilot new technologies and products. We bring in our IBM and partner experts to work with you to create customized briefings, multi-client events, and client advisory councils. We provide you with full access to the breadth of IBM’s Centers, including Executive Briefing Centers, Benchmarking Centers, Design and Proof-of-Concept Centers, High Availability Centers, Compute on Demand Centers and Banking Centers of Excellence.
IBM Server Solutions
Specific server solutions can be discussed, as well as topics such as server consolidation, virtualization, and energy efficient solutions. Servers currently in our hands-on lab include iDataPlex, HS21 and HS22 blades, x390M2 servers, and POWER 5 and POWER 6 servers.
IBM System Storage Solutions
These sessions can be customized to meet your requirements. Technologies currently in our hands-on lab include XIV, DS5000, ProtecTIER, SAN Volume Controller (SVC), Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), and Scale Out File Services (SOFS)/IBM Smart Business Storage Cloud.
IBM Software Solutions
Software solutions in our lab currently include WebSphere MQ low latency messaging, WebSphere Front Office, and InfoSphere Streams.
Networking Infrastructure
Our networking infrastructure includes 10 Gigabit Ethernet, 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel, converged Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCOE) and QDR/DDR Infiniband.
Dynamic Infrastructure
We can provide briefings on IBM’s Dynamic Infrastructure vision and products, with particular focus on the Information Infrastructure and Virtualization.
